After Proms are one the most memoriable things for our seniors. Battlefield Houston has been a part of many Houston and surrounding area High School Project Proms and After Proms. We can build a battlefield for your senior's and their guests and run multiple types of games throughout the evening. We can take over a highschool gym (or half of the gym), hotel ballroom, party room in It'z, party room in Dave and Buster's and so much more. Let us work with you on your project.
We can also customized dogtags at your event. Ask us about our After Prom specials for the greatest pricing and a high quality completely customized dogtag for your event. We will customize them during the event.
We have been a great after prom idea or project prom idea for several years for the Houston, Katy, Pearland, Sugarland, Tomball, Cypress, Lake Jackson, Galveston, and so many other areas. Let us come to you for the greatest graduation fun! We make your ideas come true.
Our Group pricing is based on unlimited number of players (no per person fee) that starts at $799 for two hours. Each additional hour is $399. A lot of schools reserve for 5 to 6 hours. When you are trying to determine how long you would like us there, please remember that the last 30 minutes to an hour are used to give away prizes and get everyone lined up to head out.
There isn't too many options that you can include in your overnight event that can handle up to 30 people at one time continuously all night.
Fund raisers for your seniors are always a challenge and you want to do something different to ensure you can stand out among all of the other events going on. Everyone will be doing car washes and cake sales. You want something new and different. We are happy to offer ideas that we have seen in the past to help with your planning process and always open to listening to your new ideas to pass along. Marketing is your best friend. No matter what you do, pick a parents/students that are very good at designing posters, creating Youtube commercials, etc. Getting the word out is critical. You don't want just your senior parents constantly donating. You want to offer ideas that are so fun that everyone wants to participate!
This type of event takes a very large number of people and great marketing to be successful. Unfortunately there are a few companies out there that have given the outdoor lasertag a bad image and it takes a marketing campaign to ensure your kids understand the difference that Battlefield Houston brings. Our scenario style of play with the best Armory in the Houston area sets us apart. To make this work, you need the event open to at least 2500 people to ensure you can get an attendance of 10% to 20%. This ensures you reach your target goals in your fundraiser.
Dogtags is a new idea and can really help you raise money all year long. Most importantly, it doesn't leave you stuck with inventory you don't sell. We can help you create a simple form that a student fills out for a customized dogtag. The dogtags are 5 lines of text and 15 characters per line (including spaces) that you can sell for $5 - $7 per tag. Even more with customized tags such as polished stainless steel, red tags, black tags, and silencers to decorate them. We charge $2 per tag plus $1 for a silencer. You can offer these all year long and push them durnig Valentines day, Homecoming, and other special events. Even give Senior bucks for each dogtag purchased or that a senior sells.
Having a carnival is a great way to raise money. During the fall, there is a lot of competition for this type of event and the companies that rent the equipment aren't in the "discounting" mood. Plan your event for early in the year or after the fall festival season is wrapping up (mid-November and later). When it is cold, you have to drop the dunking booths, but you can sell coffee and hot chocolate! Combine your carnival with a sports outing that is prime for this season. A powder-puff game will draw a larger crowd if a carnival is attached. You can always include lasertag to this type of event!
This is a great event scheduled for the time around Mardi-Gras or Halloween. Require that everyone wear a mask. Costumes obviously must not be offensive. Tickets sold help cover your DJ and food. You can possibly hold this in the same location as your overnight lock-in as a "test-run" to see how the space is going to work for you. Plenty of opportunities to continue to raise money during the event with raffles and best costume contests.
Timing of this event is important, but there are great ways to keep this low cost and get all of the kids involved. Hold the event at your school's parking lot. This allows you to charge for parking/attendance and lets you do a controlled mardi-gras parade around a contained area with all of your school and sponsors invited to particpate. Keep it festive and even include a car show. Invite the juniors and seniors to show off their fancy cars and stereos offering prizes. Charge an entry fee for the mini-events within your parade and entry fees for particpating in the parade. Everyone wants to catch some beads and the band gets a great opportunity to show off for the school. You really want to get fancy, there are some great companies that can set up Kareoke stages or even coordinate a best of the bands contest.
