Battlefield Houston has set up in many areas around Houston including Houston area parks. The two most popular questions are:
To determine if your yard is big enough, compare it to a common dimenion of a Tennis court. Roughly 70' x 40' is the minimum space we need for a group of 12 - 15 players. If your yard has two gates on either side of the house, we can play front yard vs. back yard and you can get the space that way. Also, many neighbors will allow you to use their front yards also to give you a longer battlefield.
If none of the this works, Houston area parks are a great option. The City parks will require you to fill out the required forms for a permit. This is a little work, but nothing that is overly complicated. You must do this in advanced to ensure the Park service has enough time to process. The County parks usually require some refundable deposit and a copy of our insurance which we provide to them. Permits are usually not required by the county.
